- Television Broadcast Engineer for University Television at Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL. This position is responsible for scheduling, loading and airing programming on Insight Cable Channel 3 (UTV Channel 3 in Macomb) when the WIU Department of Communication is not using it for educational purposes. Work with Channel 3 also includes the maintainance of a special website solely dedicated to Channel 3.
This position troubleshoots and arranges for shipping and receiving of receivers from multiple sites around the United states to enable uninterrupted programming for educators and educational administrators who are viewing University Television programming. Educators use this programming to achieve and maintain required educational credentials and to keep current in the teaching field or for advancement and promotion in the field of education. This position is also responsible for the mass duplication and distribution of educational DVD's to educators and educational administrators around the United States.
This position assists other engineers and staff with live and taped productions and microwave uplinks. Uplinks have included: the St. Louis Rams professional football training camp on ESPN, Fox Sports Midwest, St. Louis and regional media, and other national outlets for nine seasons, and when local author Joe Garner has been on CNN.
- The vocal narrator of "Dining Chicago," a fine-dining program in Chicago, shown on Chicago television and motel closed-circuit broadcasts. "Dining Chicago" is hosted by David M. Lissner, "The Food Dude," and showcases Chicago restaurants and clubs. "Dining Chicago" is shown on the following cable stations:
